Job summary

Hinge Health is seeking a Senior Privacy and AI Counsel to partner with Product, R&D, Hardware, Marketing and Clinical teams as they build healthcare solutions. You will drive privacy and AI policy, manage risk assessments, and negotiate DSAs/BAAs.

You will report to the Associate General Counsel, Product, stay current on HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and mentor cross-functional partners on privacy-by-design and responsible AI.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5–7 years of privacy law and data protection experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA.
• Familiarity with AI/privacy issues in ML.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain privacy and AI policies and procedures.
• Oversee privacy and data protection impact assessments.
• Provide guidance on privacy and AI issues to various departments.
• Embed privacy-by-design in product design and execution decisions.
• Lead incident response with Security and Compliance teams.
• Review DSAs/BAAs for privacy and AI issues.
