Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Manager of Technical Deployment for Financial Services in New York City to lead a high-impact delivery team embedding with client engagements.

You will hire and coach TDLs, manage portfolio health, and shape delivery playbooks while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and executives to scale the practice across Fortune 100 customers. This is a player-coach role requiring credibility in both technical and executive discussions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading enterprise AI/ML delivery with 3+ years directly managing people who owned delivery outcomes.
• Proven ability to build and lead technical delivery teams in enterprise environments.
• Delivered AI/ML or LLM-based solutions into production with credible architecture decisions.
• Depth in Financial Services, including model risk and security considerations.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and retain a team of TDLs embedded in Financial Services engagements. Set a high bar for delivery judgment, technical fluency, and customer presence, and run the interviews.
• Manage each TDL directly: regular 1:1s, clear expectations, direct feedback, and a growth plan. Build a bench that runs engagements well without you in the room.
• Own portfolio health across the vertical. Track engagements on track or at risk and intervene early when delivery drifts.
• Own customer outcomes across the portfolio. Maintain executive relationships with customer sponsors and lead steering committees.
• Make staffing calls for engagements and adjust as scope changes; Lead the most complex engagements when needed.
• Codify reusable patterns and playbooks to scale delivery infrastructure across the team.
• Partner with Sales/Marketing on Finance-specific go-to-market material and reference cases.
