Job summary

Anthropic in San Francisco is seeking a Technical Deployment Lead to drive end-to-end enterprise AI agent deployments. You will own engagements from SOW to production deployment, coordinating with forward deployed engineers, product, and research teams.

You’ll manage scope, timelines, stakeholder communications, and ROI measurements while navigating regulatory complexities. The role requires leadership of high-stakes technical projects, executive presence, and the ability to shape architecture

Qualifications

• Led AI/ML engagements and deployments, including productionizing solutions.
• Delivered AI/ML or LLM-based agentic solutions into production environments.
• Experience in specialized verticals (financial services, life sciences, pharma, etc.).
• Able to lead architecture discussions with engineering stakeholders and evaluate technical trade-offs.
• Proven track record delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery plan for each engagement, with clear scope, milestones, and value hypotheses.
• Lead technical discovery by mapping workflows, constraints, MVP scope, and solution architecture for custom agent deployments.
• Run day-to-day engineering execution and manage trade-offs to protect the critical path.
• Own product scoping for field engagements, define MVP, and manage engineering backlog.
• Lead executive briefings and manage stakeholder communications across technical leads and procurement.
• Define impact hypotheses, baselines, KPIs, and report outcomes to executive sponsors.
• Codify reusable delivery assets, create playbooks and evaluation frameworks.
• Navigate enterprise and regulatory complexity including security reviews and legal approvals.
• Manage scope and change, negotiate contracts, and identify risks early.
• Run delivery operations including sprint ceremonies and milestone reviews.
• Travel to customer sites (25–50% expected).
