Hertz Local Edition in Wichita, Kansas seeks a Manager Trainee to drive location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. The starting wage is $37,440 per year or $18.00 per hour, with opportunities to learn sales, operations, fleet, finance, and leadership through structured training and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and strong computer skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow; strong time management and scheduling abilities.
• Experience in a professional environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: assist with fleet logistics, inventory control, and store operations.
• Vehicle & Facility Care: vehicle preparation, lot management, and customer service support.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and understand reporting and metrics.
• Leadership Development: shadow management and build skills in scheduling and coaching.
