Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, leadership development, and a path to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.

The starting wage for this position is $17.50 per hour, with opportunities to grow and gain exposure across sales, operations, and finance processes.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license
• Strong computer and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow
• Exceptional time management skills
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Presentable attire
• Experience working in a professional environment

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience
• Operations & Fleet Management: Gain hands‑on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance
• Vehicle and Facility Care: Support team with cleaning, lot management, and customer service assistance
• Finance & Administration: Learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics
• Leadership Development: Shadow and support management; build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching
