Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. The starting wage for this position is $19.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to advance within the company as you learn all aspects of the business.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience working in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: support team with cleaning, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
• Leadership Development: shadow and support management; develop skills in scheduling and performance coaching; prepare for future leadership roles.
