Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. The starting wage is $33,280 per year or $16.00 per hour.

This role offers exposure to sales, fleet management, and administration in a fast-paced environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience across operations, finance, and leadership, while learning in a structured program designed to fast-track your career

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support achievement of location sales goals; deliver excellent customer experience; learn CRM best practices.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: assist with cleaning, lot management, and customer service support.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting and metrics.
• Leadership Development: shadow management, build team leadership and coaching skills; participate in structured training.
