Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Mammography Technologist PRN in Pearland, TX. You will operate mammography equipment and perform diagnostic procedures with a focus on accurate positioning and exposure.

The role emphasizes patient education about breast health and proactive screening. The ideal candidate holds a Texas Medical Board license and ARRT Mammography certification (or eligibility) with a completed Radiologic Technology program and MQSA/FDA CEU compliance.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board license (TMB) required.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligible.
• Two-year Radiologic Technology program completed.
• MQSA/FDA continuing education: 15 CEU every 3 years; 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Mammography Technologist PRN

Work Location:

Pearland, TX

Work Hours:

PRN/As Needed - Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays required

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills
