Job summary

Solis Mammography in Spring, TX is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic procedures with precision. This full-time, on-site role supports patient-centered care and requires current ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility and Texas licensure.

You’ll join a positive team and benefit from a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance for qualified technologists.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) is required.
• Current ARRT Mammography certification or eligible with documented clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA - 15 CEU’s every 3 years and 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography services and support for specified areas.
• Maintains excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
• Explain procedures to patients and educate about the importance of regular breast health.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and other staff.
• Apply instructions carefully and maintain a patient-first focus and outstanding customer service.

Work Location:7025 N Grand Parkway W, Suite 110 Spring, TX 77379

Work Hours: (Full-Time) Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Occasional Saturdays Required)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:

• Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
