Solis Mammography is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our team in Texas. The role involves operating mammography equipment and performing diagnostic procedures with a focus on accuracy in positioning and exposure.

Requirements include TMB licensure and ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility, with 2-year radiologic technology education. A sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility with documented clinical experience.
• Graduated from a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU requirements and documented case numbers.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Work Hours: Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (1-2 Saturdays required per month 7:30am-12:00pm)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Department/Center Highlights:

• ACR certified in Mammography, Stereotactic Biopsy, and Ultrasound Guided Biopsy

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
• Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
