Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center seeks a Mammography Technologist to provide high‑quality imaging in a safe, patient‑focused environment. The role supports a part‑time to full‑time schedule with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm shift and a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will perform mammography exams, review images for quality, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Certification in ARRT‑R and ARRT‑M, plus BLS, are required, with hospital mammography experience

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-M (Mammography), BLS.”

Responsabilités

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Verify patient identity with two identifiers and obtain clinical history.
• Explain the exam and provide reassurance to reduce patient anxiety (AIDET).
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity and comfort during positioning and transfers.
• Review images for quality and magnification, ensuring first‑time acceptance.
• Operate mammography equipment safely, optimize dose, and maintain infection control.
