Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and patient support. This role offers a predictable schedule and the opportunity to balance meaningful clinical work with life outside the hospital.

The ideal candidate has a radiologic technology degree, ARRT-R and ARRT-M, BLS, and at least one year of hospital mammography experience, with strong anatomy and radiation safety skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year as Radiologic Technologist; Minimum 1 year of mammography experience in a hospital.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-M, BLS per credentialing.

Responsabilités

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Explain the exam clearly to reduce anxiety (AIDET).
• Review images for quality and document in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with transfers and protect patient privacy and comfort.
• Provide pre- and post-exam instructions and train new staff.
