Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide safe, high‑quality imaging in a collaborative team. This part‑time/possible full‑time role supports a predictable schedule, balancing clinical work with life balance.

You’ll be an essential member of a respected imaging team, focused on patient comfort and accurate exams. Required credentials include ARRT-R/M and BLS, with 1+ year radiology and mammography experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification: ARRT-R and ARRT-M, BLS required.
• Experience: 1 year in radiology and 1 year in mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order with patient identifiers verified.
• Maintain image quality, labeling, and documentation in PACS/RIS daily.
• Explain procedures, prep patients, and ensure safety and comfort throughout.
• Adhere to QA/QC tests and infection-control guidelines and assist team as needed.
