Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality imaging and guide patients through the exam with clear communication. This part-time role supports a stable weekday schedule in a collaborative imaging team.

The position requires ARRT credentials, 1 year of radiologic and mammography experience, and a commitment to safety, privacy, and accuracy in imaging and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience in a hospital
• ARRT-R (Radiography)
• ARRT-M (Mammography)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association

Responsabilités

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol
• Confirm patient identity with two unique identifiers
• Explain the exam clearly to reduce anxiety (AIDET)
• Review images for quality and first-time acceptance
• Operate mammography equipment safely and maintain infection control
• Document QC tests and ensure proper labeling in PACS/RIS
