Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time role. You will perform mammography exams per physician orders, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain image quality and documentation within PACS/RIS.

This position offers a predictable schedule and opportunities for growth through the CareerCare program. The role requires an accredited Radiologic Technology program and 1 year of radiologic technologist experience with mammography in a hospital

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year of radiologic technologist experience and 1 year mammography experience in a hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol with correct patient identification.
• Review images for quality and ensure proper labeling and documentation in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain a clean, safe mammography suite and follow infection control guidelines.
