Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center in Georgia seeks a Mammography Technologist to provide safe, high-quality imaging and patient support. This part-time role offers a predictable schedule with a Monday - Friday 8:30pm - 5:00pm schedule and competitive benefits.

The incumbent will perform mammography exams, maintain patient privacy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Understanding of anatomy and positioning for mammography exams.
• Knowledge of radiation safety best practices and dose optimization.
• Strong communication to explain exams and reduce patient anxiety.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician orders and protocol.
• Confirm patient identity and document imaging results.
• Review images for quality and ensure proper labeling in PACS/RIS.
