Job summary

Solis Mammography in Southlake, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform advanced mammography procedures. You will maintain precise positioning and imaging quality while educating patients on breast health.

Responsibilities include communicating with physicians and patients, ensuring excellent customer service, and participating in a collaborative team environment. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for qualified technologists.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board license (TMB) required.
• Current ARRT Mammography certification or eligible with clinical documentation.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU: 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200 documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Work Location:Southlake, TX

Work Hours: Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (1-2 Saturdays required per month 7:30am-12:00pm)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
