Job summary

Solis Mammography in McKinney, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic procedures with a patient-first focus.

You will ensure accurate positioning, communicate clearly with patients and doctors, and participate in a team that values work-life balance and high-quality breast health care.

Relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 may be available for qualified technologists; full-time schedule Monday–Friday with some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Medical Board License (TMB)
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligible with documented clinical experience
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program
• MQSA/FDA CEU requirements: 15 CEUs every 3 years and 200 documented cases every 2 years
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment for mammography and related diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain high accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients and educate about breast health.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure patient-focused care.

Work Hours:

(Full-Time) Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:00pm (Occasional Saturdays Required)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
• Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
