Job summary

Solis Mammography seeks a dedicated Mammography Technologist in Dallas, TX to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic mammography on a full-time schedule.

You'll focus on precise positioning, patient education, and teamwork in a patient-centered environment. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance are available for qualified technologists.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB required.
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible with documented clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU: 15 CEU every 3 years, 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography services with accurate positioning and exposure technique.
• Communicate clearly with patients and educate on the role of regular mammography in breast health.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain patient-first focus and exceptional customer service at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Location:

Work Hours:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm. (Two Saturdays per month required)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
