Job summary

Solis Mammography in Prosper, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our patient-focused team. The role requires precise positioning, operating x-ray equipment and performing diagnostic mammography procedures with accuracy and care.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance for qualified technologists. Work hours are full-time, with Monday-Friday schedule and occasional Saturday shifts, supporting high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) required.
• Current ARRT in Mammography or eligible with documented clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA: 15 CEUs every 3 years and 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography services with accurate positioning and exposure.
• Educate patients about the role of regular mammography for breast health.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and staff.
• Maintain patient-first focus and outstanding customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Location: 1000 N Preston Rd, Suite 30 Prosper, TX 75078

Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (1-2 Saturday shifts required per month)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB

A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
