Job summary

Solis Mammography in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic procedures with precision and care. You will contribute to a patient-first experience in a small, independent center.

The position requires TMB license, ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility, and completion of a two-year radiologic technology program, with MQSA/FDA CEU compliance and related case documentation. Join a team dedicated to compassionate breast health.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) or eligibility
• Current ARRT Mammography certification or eligible with documented clinical experience
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• MQSA/FDA CEU requirements: 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200 documented cases every 2 years
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred

Work Location: 2726 Mercantile Dr Suite 202 Rosenberg, TX 77471

Work Hours: (Full-Time) Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Occasional Saturdays Required)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need

A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
