Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography across inpatient and outpatient sites in the Tampa Bay area.

Position offers full-time, part-time, and PRN options with days, nights, and weekend shifts. Requires BLS, ARRT specialty in Radiology, and Florida licensure, plus 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• BLS Basic Life Support certification required.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or eligibility.
• Florida radiology license or eligibility to obtain.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or an Associate Degree in Radiology.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, and related duties.

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities:

• The Mammography Technologist - Outpatient performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Relevant Specialty
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
• 1year Radiology experience
