Job summary

BayCare Health System in Largo, FL is seeking a Mammography Technologist – Outpatient to perform DEXA exams and X-ray imaging, while ensuring patient care and accurate RIS data management. The role requires BLS, ARRT Radiologic Technologist with the relevant specialty, and a Radiology license in Florida, plus a Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiology.

Hours are Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm, with occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist – Relevant Specialty.
• Radiology license in the State of Florida.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or an Associate Degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform DEXA exams and X-ray imaging as needed.
• Manage RIS data and imaging files; maintain accuracy.
• Provide general clerical support and assist physicians.
• Transport patients and support imaging workflow.

• The Mammography Technologist - Outpatient performs DEXA exams and X-rays when needed. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
