Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role includes assisting with minor invasive procedures and supporting imaging services in OR and ED, while maintaining RIS data, clerical duties, and patient transport.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT eligibility within 6 months, Florida radiology licensing or eligibility, and a radiology technical diploma or associate degree, with

• Requires ARRT registry eligibility or eligibility within 6 months.
• Florida radiology license or state eligibility.
• Technical diploma or associate degree in radiology.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

• Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
