Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, supports operating room imaging, and ensures patient care with strong customer service.

Qualifications include Florida radiology licensure eligibility or ARRT, plus a radiology diploma or associate degree. Various shifts (days/evenings/nights) and on-call duties are available."

• Clear understanding of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• ARRT registry eligible or ARRT registry pending within 6 months.
• Florida radiology license or eligibility.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or Associates Degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and ED diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, clerical duties, physician assistance, patient transport.

• Shift Hours:Varies - Days, Evenings, Nights, weekends available and will be discussed to find out preferences

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.
• Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months

Radiology – State of Florida

Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
