Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist for South Florida Baptist Hospital. The position is part-time, evening shift (W/TH/F 4PM-11:30 PM) with occasional weekends and on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, supporting OR and ED imaging, and handling RIS data management with strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT registry eligibility or ARRT certification within 6 months.
• Radiology license issued by the State of Florida.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or an Associate degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and ED imaging services.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, and related clerical duties.
• Demonstrates customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibits time management, critical thinking, written and verbal communication.
• Maintains computer skills pertinent to the position.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR - ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology - State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree - Radiology
