BayCare Health System in Clearwater is seeking a Mammography Technologist – Outpatient for a part-time position at Axelrod Pavilion, Morton Plant Hospital. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography with patient care and imaging responsibilities in a busy outpatient setting.

Requirements include BLS, ARRT, Florida radiology license, and a Diploma/Associate in Radiology with 1 year radiology experience. BayCare offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive imaging team.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or eligible.
• Florida radiology license required.
• Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiology.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Maintain RIS data, file room duties and general clerical tasks.
• Assist physicians and provide patient transportation when needed.

Mammography Technologist - Outpatient Responsibilities:

• The Mammography Technologist - Outpatient performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Relevant Specialty
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
• 1year Radiology experience
