Job summary

Solis Mammography in Aurora, CO seeks a Mammography Technologist to join our accredited center. You will perform and assist with mammography procedures, produce high-quality images, and educate patients on breast health. Relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus may apply based on experience.

Required ARRT in Mammography or eligible, completion of a two-year radiologic technology program, and ongoing CEU requirements. Prior experience with ultrasound cores and stereotactic biopsies is a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography certification or eligible with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and assist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.
• Produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate.
• Effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health.
• Maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees.
• Consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
• Complete appropriate documentation.
• Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
• Assist in the compilation and maintenance of statistical data.
• Promote privacy and comfort for the patient.

Work Hours: Full Time | M-F 7:30 to 4pm

Compensation Range: $36 - $47+

Here is what you will need:

• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:

Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $47+ commensurate with experience
