Job summary

Solis Mammography in Aurora, CO seeks a dedicated Mammography Technologist to support high-quality breast imaging. You will prepare for and assist radiologists, ensure precise positioning, and maintain patient comfort during exams.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility, with two-year radiologic technology training, and strong patient communication skills to educate patients about regular breast health.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligibility with documented clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA-15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and assist Radiologist in mammography exams, including breast biopsies.
• Produce high-quality films for radiologist evaluation.
• Educate patients about the importance of routine mammography for breast health.
• Maintain patient-first focus and provide outstanding customer service.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and staff.

Work Hours: Full Time | M-F 7:30 to 4pm

Compensation Range: $36 - $47+

Here Is What You Will Need

• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology

• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
• Prepares for and assists the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.
• Produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate.
• Effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health.
• Maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees.
• Consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
• Complete appropriate documentation.
• Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
• Assist in the compilation and maintenance of statistical data.
• Promote privacy and comfort for the patient.
