Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Atlanta seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform mammography studies and stereotactic procedures. The position requires certification in Radiologic Technology and the American Heart Association BLS. Candidates with experience in mammography and quality control will be preferred. This role requires working autonomously and performing a variety of mammography-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with certification in Radiography and Mammography.
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and quality control specific to mammography.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of mammography studies including needle localization and ductograms.
• Work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
3. Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
4. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience in mammography.
2. One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
3. Experience in Clinical Research setting.
