Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to join our imaging team. You will perform stereotactic biopsy procedures, QC related to mammography, and a full range of studies including needle localization and ductograms.

You will work with minimal supervision in a patient-focused environment, upholding high standards of quality, safety, and accuracy in imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and QC specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Perform stereotactic biopsy procedures and related QC in mammography.
• Acquire all mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.
• Work with autonomy under indirect supervision.

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
3. Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
4. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience in mammography.
2. One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
3. Experience in Clinical Research setting.
