Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography. The incumbent will perform stereotactic procedures and QC tasks, including needle localization and ductograms, while working with a degree of autonomy under indirect supervision.

Requirements include ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography and an accredited Radiologic Technology program. BLS may be preferred, with opportunities to advance within a leading healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)).

Requirements

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
3. Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
4. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred Qualifications

1. One (1) year of experience in mammography.
2. One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
3. Experience in Clinical Research setting.
