Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Alpharetta is looking for a skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography. This position involves performing various mammography studies and requires ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography along with the ability to conduct stereotactic procedures. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in clinical settings and be equipped with strong technical skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography.
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of mammography studies including needle localization and ductograms.
• Work autonomously with indirect supervision in required areas.

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
3. Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
4. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience in mammography.
2. One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
3. Experience in Clinical Research setting.
