Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with extensive experience in stereotactic biopsy and mammography QC. The role requires the ability to perform all stereotactic mammography studies with autonomy and appropriate supervision.

A strong ARRT credential and BLS are essential. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography, with preferred experience in QC procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist with Radiography and Mammography credentials.
• Qualified for stereotactic procedures and QC related to mammography.
• Hold American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform stereotactic biopsy and mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.
• Operate with autonomy and under indirect supervision.
• Maintain QC records and ensure patient safety during imaging.

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
3. Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
4. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience in mammography.
2. One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
3. Experience in Clinical Research setting.
