Job summary

Miami HEAT is seeking a Media Asset Management Coordinator to oversee the operational health of the MAM system, manage day-to-day ingest, and support DAM users across departments. The role sits between system strategy and hands-on execution, requiring independent judgment and proactive workflow improvements rather than fixed procedures.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in media asset management and strong knowledge of MAM/DAM platforms, metadata standards, and asset lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in media asset management, digital asset management, or broadcast archive operations.
• Strong working knowledge of MAM/DAM platforms, metadata structures, and asset lifecycle management.
• Working technical background to troubleshoot Windows, Adobe Creative Suite, and CatDV/Telestream Vantage behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day ingest process for incoming media assets and determine handling based on asset type.
• Direct and oversee ingest and archive workflows ensuring consistency with standards.
• Serve as primary contact for MAM and DAM users with issue diagnosis and resolution paths.
• Assist with archive and restore workflows and coordinate with IT staff.
• Monitor MAM/DAM system health, document SOPs, and contribute to platform improvements.
• Rotate on-call lead for game-night media operations and coordinate cross-team needs.
