Job summary

Allied Universal in California is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Tustin. This unarmed role conducts vehicle and foot patrols, maintains a visible presence to deter incidents, and supports a welcoming experience for visitors, tenants, and employees.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, excellent customer service, and the ability to follow site-specific procedures. Shifts are Day Time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and employees through security procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate observations to management.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, report hazards, and direct visitors per procedures.
• Prepare incident reports and coordinate with management and emergency services.
