Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mall Center Patrol Driver in Newport Beach, CA to protect clients across retail/malls. You will patrol by vehicle and on foot, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and vendors per site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, stores, parking, and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents and document activities per site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, traffic and parking concerns, and guest directions.
