Allied Universal in California is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Tustin. This unarmed role conducts vehicle and foot patrols, maintains a visible presence to deter incidents, and supports a welcoming experience for visitors, tenants, and employees.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, excellent customer service, and the ability to follow site-specific procedures. Shifts are Day Time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for visitors, tenants, and employees. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail center.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, report maintenance concerns or hazards, and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with site management, tenants, and/or responding public services personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
