Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed) for a shopping center in Newport Beach, CA. You will patrol, assist tenants and visitors, and respond to incidents while providing excellent customer service. A valid driver's license is required; armed license not needed for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience.
• Driver's license valid in the state of the job.
• Armed license not required for this role; Guard Card preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and emergency response actions when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of retail areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter incidents and report issues.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and document per procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access or theft.
• Document incidents and maintenance concerns accurately and communicate with site management and Allied Universal leadership.
