Job summary

Buff City Soap is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Louisville, KY to lead a high-energy team and drive a client-centric service culture. You will oversee Makery operations, ensure a clean, efficient workspace, meet sales goals, and coach team members to perform at peak levels.

The role requires strong communication, management and leadership abilities, with college education preferred but not required. Evening and weekend availability is expected as part of a five-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Skilled Trainer, motivator, and leadership qualities desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the Makery in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean Makery environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
• Manage and track stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, production and assist with other Makery Manager functions.
• Assist the Store Manager in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Candidate should expect to work five days per week, and a 30-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.
