Job summary

Ascension Commercial Real Estate Llc is hiring a maintenance/make-ready technician to turn vacant units into rent-ready homes and keep the leasing pipeline moving. You’ll patch sheetrock, paint walls and trim, resurface tubs, install appliances, and verify plumbing, electrical, and HVAC basics.

A valid driver’s license is required and you must be able to lift and move materials; this is a full-time, on-site Texas role.

Qualifications

• Apartment make-ready or general maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of drywall, paint, and basic plumbing and electrical
• Able to lift and move materials and stay on your feet
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units to rent-ready condition on schedule
• Patch and repair sheetrock; prep and paint walls, ceilings, and trim
• Resurface tubs and counters; replace fixtures, hardware, and blinds
• Install and check appliances; complete flooring prep and punch-out repairs
• Confirm plumbing, electrical, and HVAC basics are working
• Complete a final detail clean and walk each unit before it leases
• Work from the make-ready worksheet to hit projected completion dates
