Job summary

NE Property Management in San Angelo, TX is seeking a maintenance technician to restore vacated apartments to market-ready condition. You will patch, paint, test appliances, and manage basic upkeep across interior and exterior spaces.

The role emphasizes safety, log tasks, and collaboration with the leasing office and property managers. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with 2+ years in multifamily maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years in on-site maintenance or make-ready for multi-family properties.
• HVAC/EPA license or CPO preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong English communication and task logging.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and return to market-ready condition.
• Patch drywall and paint interior/exterior on schedule.
• Remove trash and debris from vacated units.
• Test appliances and report repairs needed.
• Inspect and maintain windows, doors, blinds, and fans.
• Rekey doors and manage lock hardware.
