Abbey Residential in Houston, TX is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare apartment homes to be move-in ready. You’ll work hands-on with appliances, fixtures, and surfaces to restore units for leasing.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of multifamily maintenance or make-ready experience.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and excellent service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving and replacing appliances.
• Inspect, repair, or replace faucets, sinks, bathtubs, tiles, and plugs.
• Perform light painting, drywall patching, and caulking.
• Replace or repair ceiling fans, blinds, light fixtures, and more.
• Change HVAC filters and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Clean carpets using commercial equipment.
• Assist with apartment trash-outs and property grounds upkeep.
• Support after-hours on-call maintenance rotations.
