Job summary

ResProp Management in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for move-in and maintain appealing common areas. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks and ensure resident satisfaction. The role requires at least 1 year of general maintenance experience, trade skills, and access to your own hand tools.

A varied schedule, weekend/holiday shifts, and reliable transportation are expected. EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances.
• Trade licensing preferred but not required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of community.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Dependable transportation and rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• EPA Type I, II or Universal certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Perform work that keeps common areas clean, safe, and attractive (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots).
• Respond to and complete work orders promptly and with quality.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to preserve property value.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct them.
• Use software to track work and personal performance.
• Be part of a team handling diverse tasks in a developing environment.
