Job summary

ResProp Management in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service apartment communities. You will respond to work orders, maintain common areas, and support the Maintenance Supervisor to keep properties safe, clean, and well presented.

You must have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, EPA certifications preferred, and own tools. The role requires physical work, weekend/holiday rotation, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of general maintenance/general repair experience.
• EPA Type I, II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Trade skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of community.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays and rotate on-call schedule.
• Able to perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders in a timely, quality manner.
• Maintain common areas to be clean, safe, and attractive (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots).
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide strong customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain property value.
