Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments and maintain property quality. You will work with the maintenance team to ensure move-ins meet standards and residents receive excellent service.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and using software to track tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and live within 30 minutes of the community.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance/general repair experience, preferably in multifamily or related industry.
• Trade skills including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required
• Must have own hand tools
• Must live within 30 minutes of community
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintain common areas (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots) to drive property performance.
• Respond to and complete work orders timely in a quality manner.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks throughout the day.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maintain property value.
• Identify safety hazards and report/correct them.
• Use software applications to track work and personal performance.
• Be part of a team handling a variety of tasks in an evolving environment.
