Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to prepare vacant apartments for move-in and upkeep common areas to ensure property performance. You will respond to work orders, coordinate tasks with the Maintenance Supervisor, and provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience, broad trade skills, and the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience, preferably in the multifamily or related industry.
• Trade skills including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliance, etc.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required
• Must have own hand tools
• Must live within 30 minutes of community
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vacant apartments for move-in to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintaining common areas to drive property performance (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots).
• Responding to and completing work orders promptly in a quality manner.
• Coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Providing excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Maintaining property value through preventative maintenance.
• Identifying safety issues and reporting or correcting them.
• Using software applications to track work and performance.
• Being part of a team handling a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment.
