Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant units meet quality standards for re-leasing by performing technical and mechanical work to turn units to market-ready condition that meet the Company’s standards for occupancy.

Responsibilities include completing repairs, caulking, painting, and maintaining grounds and amenities, while following safety policies and using proper tools to support property operations.

Qualifications

• Must perform repairs and make-ready tasks to meet standards.
• Inspect and caulk around windows, sinks, toilets, and fixtures.
• Paint and touch up vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Completes all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and repairs or replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
• Completes make-ready checklist and required maintenance documentation in a timely manner.
• Complies with safety policies; attends safety meetings and training.
