Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Pearland, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to turn vacant apartment homes into market-ready units by performing required repairs, caulking, painting, and general upkeep.

You will follow make-ready checklists, inspect for damaged sheetrock, assist with grounds, and help control costs by using parts efficiently while maintaining safety. Occasional travel and a flexible schedule may be required.

Responsibilities

• Completes all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Ensures apartment homes have been properly caulked and sealed around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects all sheetrock for damage, and repairs and/or replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and supervising general upkeep.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
