Qualifications

• Experience as Make Ready Technician or Apartment Maintenance Technician required.
• General maintenance knowledge: basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Must provide and maintain personal tools.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Capable of performing physical labor, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents through repairs, cleaning coordination, and unit touch-ups.
• Complete make-ready projects efficiently to meet move-in deadlines.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
• Replace fixtures, hardware, blinds, and other apartment components as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances when necessary.
• Maintain safe work practices and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Communicate project status and unit readiness with onsite management and maintenance staff.
• Assist with property upkeep and other maintenance tasks as assigned.
